Easter weekend! What a lovely way to welcome an experience in the South! I felt like a guest in a Forrest Gump B&B. Staying in this civil-war era chateau both welcomed and culminated this sunny spring weekend. I’m a write- bear with me 🙂 Take a walk along these historic streets to Forsyth Park. Between 9am and 1pm in the spring, summer, and part of fall, you’ll find a Farmer’s Market with fresh produce, bakery treats, and original art for sale from sidewalk vendors. It’s a magical way to call in a Southern Spring weekend.

My daughter and I came to Savannah from California and had the nicest time. Everyone was friendly and kind. The room was so clean and kept up. We loved sitting on the porch with the rocking chairs and will definitely be back.
Thank you.

Time in Savannah to cap off a trip south for spring break. The manor is lovely, and our time here was restful after busy days exploring the city. We will recommend to friends and hope to be back again.

Oooh such a beautiful home. Friendly with so much charm. This first stay was everything we wanted it to be for our Anniversary weekend. Thank you so much. We look forward to seeing you again!

We have been to Savannah many times, but this was the most enjoyable stay we’ve ever had! The house is beautiful and the people are so warm and welcoming. Each day was a joy to go to the wonderful breakfast and meet new people! Room 101 is beautiful!! My brother was in 102 which is also cozy and beautifully decorated. We will definitely come back!

We celebrated our 20th anniversary and we had a wonderful stay. The living room and dining are both gorgeous. They let us take photos. They also let me use the study for my meetings. Breakfast is also a plus. Beth is very welcoming and catering to our requests. And the parking is nice to have so you don’t have to worry about where to park. We will definitely consider booking again.
Thank you!

This is our first visit to Savannah. It is a beautiful city with a vast architecture offering. We found the riverboat cruise most interesting and explored the riverfront district. Check out the amazing mineral and fossil exhibit at the Riverfront Marriott! And we really enjoyed our stay in your stately Godley Manor and met some other interesting guests here. We will spread the word back home.Thank you for your Southern hospitality.

First visit to Savannah. So glad that we found Godley Manor. Really enjoyed our weekend here. Would recommend the dolphin tour, get tickets on River Street near Spanky’s restaurant. Loved staying in this wonderful old property. A great addition to our 1500 miles road trip.
Thank you.

Our first time in Savannah- what a beautiful place to stay! We enjoyed all of the guests we met at breakfast- was given great tourist advice and had the best time. Ms. Pam was a wonderful host. We felt so welcome. I can’t wait to come back.
Thank you!

Oh, how I wish these walls could talk, but the way you have restored the nostalgia of this magical home is breathtaking. Absolutely beautiful. Beth-thank you so much for accommodating our last minute reservations. I couldn’t tink of any better way to end my 60th birthday celebration week. We’ll be back!
17Hundred90 Restaurant was delicious!!!

So many choices of places to stay in Savannah, but we chose Godley Manor. We chose wisely, a blessing of a find. Beautiful home with the nicest people. Chris, who welcomed us and gave us great information at our arrival. (17hundred90-fabulous!). Pam, who called Old Savannah Tours to arrange our pick-up. We loved chatting with Pam while we waited for our driver. She has so many wonderful stories and memories to share. This was our first visit to Savannah, but we’ll be back and we know where to stay. Might even pick a different room since we got an impromptu manor tour. 🙂

As we celebrate our 40th Anniversary this will surely be one of our most memorable ones. This pace was just what we needed for a get-away. The hospitality was wonderful, peaceful and quiet. We truly enjoyed ourselves and look forward to our next return. We will share, this was just too good to keep to ourselves.
Thank you! Darryl & Bonita R.
