Loved our stay here, thank you so much! We enjoyed the town, walking, azaleas blooming. Our favorite thing beside all the history was sitting atop the rooftop bar at the JW Marriott as a huge container ship was escorted up the river to the docks. What a sight!! This is our first visit to Savannah. What a lovely city to celebrate our 50th anniversary in! Staying at Godley Manor was one of the highlights of our visit. We loved the wonderful historical atmosphere of this beautiful manor. Our room was lovely and comfortable with a lot of charm. We enjoyed all of our sightseeing adventures and hearing about the incredible history of this beautiful city. We will be back! Thank you so very much for making our 50th anniversary celebration such a precious memory to cherish. P.S. The fine china plate pattern used here is the same as our fine china that we chose 50 years ago. We were meant to stay here! 🙂

We’re visiting from Tampa, FL! We met in college a long time ago and it used to be our tradition to spend a few days in Savannah after winter finals. The stay in Godley Manor was wonderful and it’s been a perfect weekend of walking down memory lane.

We’re visiting from Seattle for the holidays to see family and friends. I was born in Savannah and raised in Bluffton, so this was a wonderful trip down memory lane. My grandmother was from Savannah and I spent much of my childhood here. My husband is from SEattle and we’re expecting in April and this was the babymoon we needed.
