Another wonderful stay in our favorite room at our favorite house in Savannah! I spent a lot of time in the house playing the piano and working on the jigsaw puzzle in the common area. The breakfast goodies each morning were so thoughtfully laid out and the room was cozy and welcoming as always. We even had milder weather than we’re used to for Savannah in July! We also got to see Cricket, the jack russell, a special treat. Thank you as always for your kindness and hospitality. I’m sure we’ll be back soon.

My wife and I came to Savannah to celebrate our 40th anniversary. We loved the city and our stay at Godley Manor. It could not have been any more perfect.

My fiance and I came for a short getaway. Neither of us had been to Savannah before, so we wanted to get the “full” experience. Staying at the Manor was truly the perfect choice. Our time here was peaceful and relaxing. All the staff were kind and offered great suggestions for places to visit. Hopefully, one day, our adventures bring us back this way, but should they not, I thank you for the privilege to have stayed here.

Great weekend for my husband’s birthday. Awesome room and the deck was an added bonus. I love being outside. Look forward to my next stay. Thanks so much for everything.

From the moment we stepped into Godley Manor, we felt transported into another time and way of life. The house and decor, every detail, so beautiful and sumptuous. Beth is a most gracious and welcoming host, making us feel so at home. We enjoyed our conversations with her so much. She is delightful. Our room, 304, was so comfortable and gorgeous at the same time. Thick, fluffy towels, pillow-like bed and seating, fireplace, A/C, refrigerator… every detail so thoughtful. Thank you, Beth, for making our stay so lovely and ful. All the best to you.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The B&B is beautiful and is a great location to both sides of town. A quiet stay is so restful after all of the walking you do around town. Loved our private balcony.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our stay here was unexpected and ended up being one of the most enjoyable parts of our trip. It is so charming and quiet here, a beautifully appointed oasis which was a lovely reprieve from sightseeing. It encouraged us to slow down and recharge, allowing us to be better energized and centered to enjoy the city more. We love the porches and breakfast on this one and evening spent watching the lights change and the peaceful night from the porch. We will surely be back.
Thank you.

This has been a most beautiful stay! We are on our honeymoon and could not have asked for a better room in the heart of Savannah. The room is beautiful, well decorated, cozy, and the sheets and towels are so soft! Thank you to everyone at Godley Manor for their welcoming kindness.
Many thanks,

Godley Manor was the perfect place to stay during our 33rd anniversary celebration in Savannah. The decor in our room, #304, was lovely. We especially appreciated the spacious accommodations and peaceful private porch. Breakfast was delicious and served with true Southern hospitality. Thank you, Beth, and staff! The city was a perfect portal back in time. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Olde Pink House. Our walking tour of the city included almost every major square, St. John the Baptist Cathedral, River Street, and the Georgia Railroad Museum. Everyone was a treat! We enjoyed everything so much that we plan to make this an annual tradition!

We really enjoyed our stay in room 304 at Godley Manor! Savannah was a beautiful city to walk through. Here are some things we recommend from our visit: walking through Forsyth Park, lunch at Mrs. Wilkes, visiting the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, walking the squares, the 1:00pm tour at 1st African Baptist Church, lunch at Duck Diner, sandwiches and salads at the Urban Deli. We hope you enjoy your stay in Savannah as much as we did. Thank you staff at Godley Manor!

This was our first visit to Savannah, and we had a wonderful, relaxing time! The Godley Manor is lovely. Room 304 is beautiful, large, and very comfortable. WE enjoyed sitting on the private porch to watch a thunderstorm go through. This is a terrific location for seeing the city- a walk to many things, easy access to the hop-on hop-off bus, and not far from other sites. WE thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely loved our stay at Godley Manor! Such a beautiful property and conveniently located next to everything! The warm hospitality and attention to detail made our first trip to Savannah a truly memorable one. We can’t wait to return for another mother/daughter getaway.
