Jacki and I have really enjoyed getting to know Savannah and Godley Manor was a wonderful and beautiful home base for our explorations! We hope to return in the future. You are all so kind and welcoming!

Godley Manor and Room 305 have been a dream. As lovers of history and architecture, this place far exceeded my expectations. My husband picked the hotel and room (go him!) and I was in awe 🙂 Savannah has been on my bucket list for several years and we finally made it here for our 6th anniversary trip. I found it to be such a peaceful and classy city, just as I had hoped. As for the room- it was regal- the spaciousness, the decor, chandeliers, furniture, rug, and THAT TUB!! Oh and I can’t forget the tile! Loved it all. So homey and welcoming all around and the staff was the perfect amount of friendly. We’ll recommend the manor to all who ask!

We have had such a lovely experience staying at the Godley Manor. We wanted something a little more special for a 10th anniversary, and this place was perfect. The building is beautiful with all the exquisite architectural details. We couldn’t stop taking pictures of every corner! The amenities and details down to the fluffiest towels were a bonus. It was so peaceful, it felt like we had the manor to ourselves. The room is lovely; the fireplace tiles are stunning; the clawfoot tub was a main feature of why we chose this room. Beth was so friendly when we checked in . We definitely fell more in love with the charming historic district of Savannah!

Godley Manor was exquisite. Beth and the staff were so gracious and accommodating. I lived in the area between 2012-2015 and have visited Savannah many times, but this has been my favorite trip so far. WE will definitely be back and will stay at the manor again. Visit 1790 for dinner if you can.

Savannah is absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t get enough of the beautiful streets, homes, and trees with hanging moss. There is so much history in this city and we enjoyed learning about it throughout our visit, and various tours. Some of my favorite things were the Prohibition Museum, our guided ghost tour and our riverboat cruise. The room speaks for itself. I really felt like I traveled back in time here at Godley Manor. The furniture, art, and my favorite- the “family style” dining area. If we ever come back, I will stay here again.
