Room 305 is beautiful. The house is beautiful. The staff are extremely friendly. Our first night here on April 15th, I was woken up by a loud bang, something hit the bed. I fell back asleep for about 30 minutes. When I got out of bed, I noticed the cabinet door of the bed stand was open and against the bed. It was closed when I went to sleep. My husband told me when we 1st arrived, he opened and shut it. He was being nosey and wanted to look inside. I slept on the side closest to the fireplace. Cool story! This place has been one of my favorite places to stay!

We had the most formal Yahtzee game of our lives at the dining table tonight! Love the ambience here. For future visitors, we recommend the Flannery O’Connor house tour. We stayed here for a few days. Loved the vintage feel. Took advantage of the claw tub. Was great having all the space and the larger rug for cold mornings. Staff is extremely nice & the family breakfast table style was unique. Overall wonderful experience.
