What an amazing place! We found the Godley Manor at the last minute and were absolutely in awe at how beautiful and well-kept the hotel is. Beth is a great host, which helped to give us the wonderful get-a-way we had hoped for!

As I am old, I appreciate old things, people and places. This is a fine old home that must have hosted many happy occasions over the years. I sense no evil spirits here. I congratulate its current owners for preservine it and hope they will continue to do so as the world needs preservation at least as much as it does innovation. Some places and their associated memories cannot and should not be replaced. This is one of those. All who stay here are privileged and we are happy to include ourselves among them.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lovely Godley Manor. We were able to check in early and were greeted with a home tour and helpful map of the beautiful area. We will definitely be back to Savannah and look forward to staying here again.

We had a very lovely stay in your beautiful historic Manor. Everything was A+. We enjoyed Savannah, Hilton Head, the weather despite the day of rain, and our supper at 17hundred90.

Savannah lives up to the reputation of charm and hospitality. We thoroughly loved the city and staying at the Godley Manor. Miss Pam was so friendly and took great care in making sure our needs were met. She is so welcoming and friendly. What a gift you have with her working here. We loved the location and beautiful homes in this area. We can’t wait to come back.

We had a wonderful time in Savannah and here at Godley Manor celebrating our 25th anniversary. Highlights include visiting the Owens Thomas House, Jepson Center for the Arts, and Graveface Museum- taking the “40 Acres & A Mule” walking tour and dining at Strange Bird, Dotties Market, Common Thread, Wildflower Cafe, Brochus Family Tradition- and coffee at Perc and pastries from Auspicious. Love this city and can’t wait to come back.

What a lovely manor Godley Manor is! Staying here truly took us back in time. It felt so graft to have breakfast in the beautiful, spacious dining room. Godley Manor is located in a great area close to Forsyth Park and other attractions. As for the staff, Beth was so welcoming and friendly. She gave us a tour and showed us to our room, despite suffering from “parade feet!” Staying at Godley Manor gave us a taste of true Southern Hospitality and charm. Although our stay was short, we got a real feel for the city of Savannah. Hope to come back again someday and stay here.

What a wonderful stay we had! The Manor is delightfully situated in such a beautiful walkable area. We walked to the river and back in the evening & day. When we got back, we were so happy to plop into the comfortable surroundings of our room. Thank you for having this manor!

We were delighted to arrive yesterday and find such warm hospitality, a tour of the manor, and a lovely room. Enjoyed a cup of coffee on the porch rocking chairs this morning after breakfast and are sorry to leave so soon. We were just passing through on our way back from Florida. We will certainly be back.. The Godley Manor is enchanting! Thank you for a wonderful experience.
