I stopped into Savannah on a road trip from West Palm Beach, FL to Lewes, DE. I’ve been on an adventure for 2 weeks: half the time alone and half the time with my college girlfriends. I didn’t have a place booked and after calling a bunch of inns, I found Godley Manor on a Google map! How lucky I am to have found this gem. I enjoyed my first visit to Savannah, and this manor and neighborhood were exactly what i needed for rest and inspiration. A beautiful pause in my year of celebrating turning 50.

We came to Godley Maor to stay for our anniversary and it was perfect! We loved being able to walk almost anywhere and still being somehwere so quiet at night. I’ll be recommending this spot to anyone who asks. We will definitely be back at some point to explore more of the city!

Ah! What an awesome place! Beth and her staff are the most wonderful people, so accommodating and helpful. We’ve been to Savannah four other times and this has been the best! The room was impeccable and the bed was out-of-this world comfortable! Super nice time here in Savannah!

The best experience ever. Everyone was very friendly. It snowed on the 31st. What an experience. I taught a few people how to catch snowflakes on their tongues! I laughed so hard. The room was just wonderful. Thank you for the great memories! FYI, the temperature outside was 15 degrees.
