My wife and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in October, and stayed at Godley Manor for four nights. We fell in love with Savannah 37 years ago, and decided to return there for our holiday. We looked through all the places to stay, and decided on Godley, mostly because it looked gorgeous in the online pics, and it has such an incredibly high rating from guests. A great choice! We had room 104, and it is spectacular. The best part of the whole time there was Beth, the woman who runs it all. From the moment we drove into their lot for the first time, and she greeted us from the front porch, we knew she, and the stay, were going to be truly special. My wife and I have been blessed to travel a lot. There is a wonderful small, boutique hotel in Ireland we used to say was “the best in the world.” (Well, our world, anyway.)  Now, we have Godley Manor in Savannah. The entire stay was as close to perfect as you can come. We give a LOT of the credit to Beth, as well as her staff. We could just not recommend this any more highly. We’ll be going back now, hoping to get Room 104 when we go, and hoping to again see the staff, as well as Beth.

This is- like perfect. You’re here and you see it, sense it, and get to live it going first-class all the way. Best part is Beth, the manager. I’m 78 now, and I know this sounds sappy, but Beth- in four nights has gone from host to friend. I love Godley- the home and the manager.
Marvelous room- it’s like a luxurious apartment! And many thanks to all the staff, especially for the dining recommendations. All were spot-on and great Savannah experiences. Thanks to all at Godley Manor.

Thank you, Beth.  We certainly enjoyed the relaxed, yet very accommodating service and the nice facility. It is truly beautiful and helps one to unwind in the quiet and historic atmosphere. Your husband was very helpful and prompt to correct the minute (tiny) adjustment we needed. You have a darling place and great service. Love the location, the quiet neighborhood and your availability without feeling stressed.  From the artwork to the piano (I loved that), to the gorgeous furnishings- it was an absolute delight.

We came to Savannah for a two day exam. During our stay, Beth was kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. WE had everything we needed and then some. She even helped get myself breakfast set up the night before because I would have to leave before it was served. Overall, a great experience and would certainly stay again.  Dr. L.

Godley is such a gracious manor! Absolutely lovely location and B&B! Their sister restaurant was excellent. Savannah is such a spectacular historic city. So beautiful to walk in this area at night to see the fountains and monuments lit up. So glad none of them were removed like they were in VA and other places- even in Lexington, KY.  How ridiculous and tragic to try and erase our history! Will return again and again to this magical place! Thank you for the special Southern hospitality.
