Thank you for the hospitality and sharing your enchanting city, which we enjoyed for the first time while on our honeymoon. One of our best dining experiences was at Strange Bird near the south end of Forsyth Park. It’s in an old train car and somehow had better Mexican-American fusion than in our home of Texas. Our room appointments and details at Godley completed our magical, but short, stay.

We live 2 hours from Savannah but its like a whole different world transported in time. Godley Manor was an essential part of this experience. The staff and owners were the quintessential in Southern hospitality. Thank you for making this a magical 40th anniversary for us. The on and off trolly is a must. Locally owned by Old Savannah Tours, it’s an experience in and of itself. There is so much to do and see here. We will be back!

We have thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Godley Manor. Beth made us feel very welcome, and we knew we could call upon her if we need anything. Our room was extremely clean and the decor was beautiful. The entire place was beautiful, and it had a very warm and home like feeling. We also loved that we were able to walk to many places to shop, restaurants, the squares, all in the historic district. If we ever get back to Savannah, we will definitely stay here again.
