Due to unforeseen circumstances, our stay here was unexpected and ended up being one of the most enjoyable parts of our trip. It is so charming and quiet here, a beautifully appointed oasis which was a lovely reprieve from sightseeing. It encouraged us to slow down and recharge, allowing us to be better energized and centered to enjoy the city more. We love the porches and breakfast on this one and evening spent watching the lights change and the peaceful night from the porch. We will surely be back.
Thank you.

This has been a most beautiful stay! We are on our honeymoon and could not have asked for a better room in the heart of Savannah. The room is beautiful, well decorated, cozy, and the sheets and towels are so soft! Thank you to everyone at Godley Manor for their welcoming kindness.
Many thanks,

Godley Manor was the perfect place to stay during our 33rd anniversary celebration in Savannah. The decor in our room, #304, was lovely. We especially appreciated the spacious accommodations and peaceful private porch. Breakfast was delicious and served with true Southern hospitality. Thank you, Beth, and staff! The city was a perfect portal back in time. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Olde Pink House. Our walking tour of the city included almost every major square, St. John the Baptist Cathedral, River Street, and the Georgia Railroad Museum. Everyone was a treat! We enjoyed everything so much that we plan to make this an annual tradition!

We really enjoyed our stay in room 304 at Godley Manor! Savannah was a beautiful city to walk through. Here are some things we recommend from our visit: walking through Forsyth Park, lunch at Mrs. Wilkes, visiting the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, walking the squares, the 1:00pm tour at 1st African Baptist Church, lunch at Duck Diner, sandwiches and salads at the Urban Deli. We hope you enjoy your stay in Savannah as much as we did. Thank you staff at Godley Manor!

This was our first visit to Savannah, and we had a wonderful, relaxing time! The Godley Manor is lovely. Room 304 is beautiful, large, and very comfortable. WE enjoyed sitting on the private porch to watch a thunderstorm go through. This is a terrific location for seeing the city- a walk to many things, easy access to the hop-on hop-off bus, and not far from other sites. WE thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely loved our stay at Godley Manor! Such a beautiful property and conveniently located next to everything! The warm hospitality and attention to detail made our first trip to Savannah a truly memorable one. We can’t wait to return for another mother/daughter getaway.

Thank you for the wonderful experience. It was our first time in Savannah and the hospitality was exceptional. We are going to miss the lovely conversations with other guests at the dining room table and the breakfast spread. Great hospitality. Will return and definitely recommend it to our friends and family.
Love,

Thank you for our lovely stay in room #304 the “Beautiful Blue Room.” The beautiful canopy bed was comfortable and allowed us to have the perfect night sleep. My husband and I came to visit our SCAD student/daughter for a four day weekend. Our other daughter joined in on our fun from Wilmington, NC.  We enjoyed a family weekend and celebrated Saint Patrick’s Day with the parade and enjoyed the lovely streets of Savannah. This was our 3rd stay in Savannah. We enjoy these large beautiful historic homes. This room was perfect for the two of us! We enjoyed our morning coffee and evening wine on the private balcony. WE also saw the beginnings of people setting up their floats and sneak peeks of the parade before it started! We thank you for our wonderful stay 🙂

Thank you for your kind hospitality. We really enjoyed our stay. This room is beautifully designed. We came for a short girls trip getaway. My friend and I visited your sister Inn, 1790. The weather was perfect for this time of year. We will definitely keep you in mind for next time.
Best!

The beautiful blue bedroom! Last night here and I’m staring up at the canopy wishing we could somehow dismantle it and stick it in my Mary Poppins bag!? We enjoyed this immaculately clean room and the fresh clean smell of linens. (I’ve been in new places that don’t smell good). Thank you so much, Beth, for your hospitality and energy. You amaze me for trotting up and down stairs like it was nothing! Bless your heart! Tim and I both love Savannah and I’m sure we’ll come back. Our evening at 17Hundred90 was perfect, delicious, and romantic! Blessings upon your family, staff, and house.

My husband and I love Savannah as we got married here during covid. It is our first visit to this incredible home and definitely not our last. Thank you for maintaining such a wonderful part of history in one of the most beautiful cities in the US.
